Important changes to how you sign-in to AFSL Licensee Dashboard
Morningstar is committed to continuously enhancing our products and services for our clients. We are taking steps to provide more seamless integration and navigation between our platforms by moving towards a single username and password for all Morningstar products.
On 14th June, 2022 we will be introducing changes to how users sign in into AFSL Licensee Dashboard.
- If you are already a subscriber of Adviser Research Centre, Morningstar Direct, PayLogic or AdviserLogic, you will use your existing credentials to sign in into AFSL Licensee Dashboard. No other action is required.
- If you do not use other Morningstar products, you will be required to register with Morningstar’s central sign-in system. This is a one-time process and takes approximately five minutes.
Registering to Morningstar central sign-in system
Go to the Morningstar AdviserLogic AFSL Dashboard , you will be redirected to the new sign in page.
Set Your Password
Select the Forgot Password? link to set your new AFSL Licensee Dashboard password. A password reset email will be sent to the registered email id. Enter your new password in the Reset Password window.
Select the link in the email, which will redirect you to the new sign-in page. This will prompt enrolment in Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) which is an additional security layer to safeguard your data.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Enrolling in Multi-Factor Authentication is a one-time task per device you are using. You will be prompted to enter your mobile number and country. This will trigger an SMS message with a one-time code. Enter the code and click Continue to confirm your identity.
Once the MFA enrolment is completed, you will be provided with a single use recovery code for future logins in case there is an issue with SMS delivery.
This recovery code can be used only once. If you sign in using the recovery code new code will be generated for future use. It is recommended you keep this code
Selecting the Remember this Browser box will remember the device you are on, and the system will not prompt you for a code for 30 days.
The enrolment stage is now complete. You can now sign in into AFSL Licensee Dashboard via the new sign-in page.
Note: Once all users have been successfully registered on the Morningstar central sign-in system, the existing AFSL Licensee Dashboard login page (shown below) will be retired. In the meantime, users may continue to sign-in using their current credentials.
The final date for retiring the existing AFSL Licensee Dashboard sign-in will be communicated in due course. The new Morningstar product link is also provided in case you wish to sign-in once registered.
