Generation Life Datafeed

To commence an Investment Datafeed from Generation Life, please follow these steps:

 

PHASE ONE - REQUEST THE DATAFEED

Please establish an AdviserLogic data feed for the adviser below as soon as possible. Details are:

Once you've sent the above email to Generation Life, please forward any response to AdviserlogicSupport@morningstar.com

 

 

PHASE TWO - LINKING THE Generation Life DATAFEED TO ADVISERLOGIC

1) Log in to your AdviserLogic account.

2) Go to Datafeeds:

For new Adviser Home page:

3) Choose "Datafeed Codes" from the menu on the left:

 

4) Add the provider from the List mceclip0.png

 

5) Select Generation Life.

In the final step, the page will update to display the necessary fields; under these enter your Generation Life Adviser Code as a single, 8 letter code. Please note that this code will consist of alphabets only.

 

That's it! Your Generation Life Datafeed should commence within a few days of completing the above steps.

 

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE Generation Life DATAFEED

Please note that it can take up to 48 hours for policy data to be updated from Generation Life source systems into an adviser’s financial planning software or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
 

What information does this feed provide?

Investment Details: Unit Balance and Transactional Data, including purchases, redemptions and distributions.

Superannuation Details, including Product, Start Date, and Account Number.

This Datafeed updates daily.

 

What information is not available?

Insurance Policy information.

 

What conflicts might it cause?

None are currently known.
