AUSIEX Datafeeds - Formerly CommSec (Data Feeds)

To commence an Investment Datafeed from AUSIEX, please follow these steps:

NOTE: Investment Datafeeds are only available to users holding an Investment Adviser License or Comprehensive Adviser License.
Contact your BDM for more information on License Types.

PHASE ONE - REQUEST THE DATAFEED

Email AUSIEX to request the initiation of the Datafeed.

Send the below email to either:

We would like to set up a datafeed to AdviserLogic for the below:

Adviser: [Name]
Adviser Code: [Adviser Code]
Licensee: [Licensee Name]

Please confirm when this has been initiated.

When the Datafeed is set up, you'll receive a reply from AUSIEX confirming this. The reply email will contain a 4 to 6 digit code for the Datafeed - make a note of this code. 

PHASE TWO - LINKING THE AUSIEX FEED TO ADVISERLOGIC

1) Log in to your AdviserLogic account.

2) Go to Datafeeds:

3) Choose "Datafeed Codes" from the menu on the left:

4) Click "Add", and in the Window that appears, select “AUSIEX”

5) The page will update to display the necessary fields; enter the 6 digit Adviser Code (you'll find this in the confirmation email from AUSIEX):

That’s it! Your AUSIEX datafeed should then commence automatically within a few days.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE AUSIEX DATAFEED

What information does this feed provide?

This Datafeed is split into two parts: the Cash Account data and the Equities data.

For Equities:

Investment Details: Unit Balance and Transactional Data, including purchases and redemptions that are transacted through AUSIEX.

For Cash Accounts:

Investment Details: Unit Balance and Transactional Data, including purchases, redemptions, and distributions that are transacted through AUSIEX.

Both parts of the Datafeed update daily.

What information is not available?

Superannuation Details

Insurance Policy Information

Corporate Actions, including Dividend/Distribution Transactional information for the Equities portion of the Datafeed.

Note: This means that Income for the equities linked to the datafeed cannot be supplied to AdviserLogic and will not be available.

What conflicts might it cause?

AUSIEX provides a Datafeed to Class. If a Class Datafeed is active to AdviserLogic, it may conflict with the AUSIEX Datafeed and cause duplication.
