OnePath Datafeeds (Data Feeds)

To commence an Investment Datafeed from OnePath, please follow these steps:

NOTE: Investment Datafeeds are only available to users holding an Investment Adviser License or Comprehensive Adviser License.
Contact your BDM for more information on License Types.

 

PHASE ONE - RETRIEVE THE DATAFEED FILE

Log in to OnePath Adviser Advantage.

Start by going to https://www.onepath.com.au/adviser.aspx and clicking the indicated button:

Log in using your access credentials:

Next, click the "Launch Account Access" button:

This will open a new website. Once it loads, place your mouse cursor over Reports:

A menu will appear; select "Adviser Reports":

 

A list of reports will be displayed. Select "Client Portfolio Balances" as shown:

Now, click "Next" at the bottom of the page:

On the next page, scroll down to the bottom, and change the "Report Type" option to 'Microsoft Excel download':

Click Next. On the next page, untick the "email notification" box, and set the Report Frequency to "Weekly". You'll need to set the number of repeats - set it as high as you can. Finally, click "Run Report".

You will be taken to a Confirmation page. Click "Home" as shown:

After about 30 seconds, the Report will become available in the lower right corner of the Home Page:

Click on the Report to download it, and then open it once the download completed.

Next, go to File -> Save As.

Change the File Type using the provided menu (below the Name box) to "CSV (Comma delimited) (*.csv):

Next, change the name of the File to match the format shown:

Note: replace [yyyymmdd] with the current date, without the square brackets. 

Click "Save". When see the following message, click "Yes":

 

PHASE TWO - UPLOAD THE DATAFEED FILE TO ADVISERLOGIC

1) Log in to your AdviserLogic account.

2) Go to Datafeeds:

 

3) Choose "OnePath (CSV)" from the menu on the left:

4) Click "Add Files", and in the browse window that appears, locate the OnePath CSV file:

5) Click "Open" to begin uploading. Once the upload completes, the file will be displayed as follows:

 

That’s it! The OnePath file should 'disappear' overnight, and the Client account data will become available in the "OnePath" section of the Datafeeds area.

If the OnePath file is still visible the next day, contact Datafeeds@Adviserlogic.com for assistance (be sure to include a copy of the CSV file).

This is a Manual Datafeed.

Investment Details, but Unit Balances only.

 

What information is not available?

Insurance Policy information

Transactional Data is not provided.

 

What conflicts might it cause?

As a manual integration, this Datafeed relies on the End User to upload data files on a regular basis in order to maintain balance accuracy. Failure to regularly upload files will lead to inaccuracy over time.
